I just updated my “beta” page, and will share the most recent story I beta’d, which has started posting. It’s a Twilight/TVD crossover, non-canon Bella/Klaus pairing.

Title: The Power of Love
Summary: Bella’s on the run, fighting against the oppressive mating bond she shares with Edward. Running to Mystic Falls, however, she stumbles straight into the arms of a mate who will give her the truest love she’s ever known. But Edward warned her of the consequences. He’ll come for her. How will the Originals handle this threat to their new family member, while battling her scars?

Why I haven’t updated CtF

First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of updates recently. There’s a reason for that, which I will share next…

I’ve been involved in organizing/managing two fandom fundraisers recently. The first is to support our soldiers, called Fandom 4 Soldiers. The blog I created and managed for this fundraiser is at http://fandom4soldiers.wordpress.com/

I’ll be finished with Fandom 4 Soldiers come January, but I have another one going, too.

I spent today creating the blog and Facebook group for Fandom for Domie, a fundraiser to support a well known friend in the Twilight fandom who’s going through a very difficult time right now. The blog for her fundraiser can be found at http://fandom4domie.wordpress.com/

This fundraiser will be going on until May. I’ve also been asked to assist with a fandom fundraiser for autism, but I don’t know when that will be.

Anyway, I’ll try to write and publish when I can, but I can’t guarantee a schedule for it while I’m busy with these fundraisers. Thank you for your support and understanding!

What I’m Reading: The Walk by Aushapasha

After a couple months of flouncing every new story I’ve tried reading, I started the following one a few days ago. It was interesting enough for me to keep reading after the first chapter, and I’m still reading it, so I’ll give it a two thumbs up! 🙂 The grammar isn’t perfect, but not as bad as some stories I’ve read. She initially published it without a beta, but now has one who intends to go back through the story and “clean it up.”

The Walk by Aushapasha

Summary: Bella returns to her island home to make a decision about her family home and her life. While there she reconnects with old friends, lovers, and makes new friends. A secret is waiting for her to find. Will she also find herself? OOC, Canon, AH, M for later. COMPLETE!

Minor spoiler: This is mostly an AH fic, but not entirely. It’s also a ghost story.

Changing the Future (2010 rewrite)

Some people have requested the original version of the rewrite for Changing the Future, so I just uploaded it in all the major eBook formats (epub, mobi, pdf) in my Facebook group. This version is a very basic rewrite of DeyDreamBeliever’s story. I’ve left my A/Ns in explaining what changes I made, but for the most part they are very minor. I didn’t make any changes to DDM’s writing except where I changed/added things to make the story/characters closer to canon.

The new (2014) rewrite that I am currently publishing is a major rewrite of the story. The story line will be the same, but I’m rewriting it completely my own way, using my own style. I’m also adding more to the story, hopefully giving it, and the characters, more depth.

If you want a chance to read or re-read this old version, you’re more than welcome to it!
